Our origins are simple, we started offering our Organic Chaga Extract back in 2012. The evolution of this was several years of research and development with one of Canada's top nutraceutical companies to design and manufacture an evolved version of chaga extract that offered maximum potency to the Canadian marketplace. We succeeded and Annanda Chaga Tincture became our flagship product offering.

Why Annanda offers two very similar Chaga Extract products
Due to the the Covid-19 outbreak, the extended production times required could not meet the high demand for Annanda Chaga Tincture. Annanda re-introduced our original product, Organic Chaga Extract to offer customers an alternative, which remains to this day.
Today, we have more than doubled our production of both products to ensure that customers never run out of a wonderful product which they have come to rely on so much for their health and well being.

Science behind Annana Chaga Extract & Annanda Chaga Tincture - So what's the diff?
Annanda Chaga Tincture is registered with Health Canada NPN (Natural Product Number) #80064674. Produced in a Health Canada approved facility using our patented extraction process with controlled hot water extraction and hot ethyl alcohol extraction. The resulting two extracts are then married or 'tinctured' together which offers a lower alc.vol ratio, 11% which is much lower than similar products on the market today and is preferred by most customers. Annanda Chaga Tincture is backed by science and can state the precise dosage of Chaga Mushroom present in mg. Health claims are approved and outlined in the Health Canada monographs. One of the very few products on the market today which is Health Canada Approved and certified USDA Organic by QAI International.
Chaga Mushroom Extract is an organic product certified by Ecocert Canada. Certified organic products cannot state or express dosage or mg per serving but only a suggested daily dose in the form of a serving size (2 dropper pulls daily.) Not being classed as a natural health product, no health claims can be made nor suggested.
The Ingredients for each product are identical. The way in which they are produced is similar, the quality controls and regulations which govern their production are different. Also, the resulting alc.vol is higher in our Organic Chaga Extract, being that of around 25% alc.vol.
